Yeah good people the new year is here and all the resolutions have been made and I know 90% of them broken or carried forward to next year. Me I make no resolutions as I have made so many and kind of broken them all so for me they are no more resolutions apart from trying and breaking the ones that have not been done away with arleady.
The year have started well for me and for that its a big up to God and his angels, Apart from the usual office headaches things are looking up and as usual money is in short supply I think i should make one resolution and start a piggy bank to cater for christmas spending as this is one area that I suck I have tried loosing my ATM but it finds its way back in my hands and at the most tempting of moments at that it seems like its a consiparcy to make me suffer in january, but I am pulling through.
One thing that I have decided to do is update this space at least once everyday and I intend to keep that among my priorities. Check back later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a passion for privacy am very private which at times is construed to shyness but for real once i open up there's no shutting up just ask the web spinner.

Finally this weekend managed to move houses to a better(read better at the same price) and by the way this can be one hell of an activity. Never stopped marvelling at the amont of junk we pick along as we go day by day.If I remember well i left my parents place with barery anything as i moved out all those years back but jeez now to change houses i need some 7 ton lorry to make the switch.The neighbourhood looks ok and the best thing is that i have enough space to enable my kids play outside(To imagine that they almost turned yellow with all the kaeni ndani ya nyumba vibe) the other good thing is that not many of my friends(infact none) knows where the place is so for the next few days its maximum privacy and this reminds me that i will have to vet whoever i will let in on the location of my new digs, as I have been messed up already by the so called friends as they tend to drop by "just to say hello" why dont you just call and say hello! then i will be able to tell you "siko home".
one disadvantge of moving houses is that you got still to let your family know where you are staying and the worst part is giving directions and for the better part of today i'v been trying to direct my small bro on how to get there and so far after like 10 calls all he can see is nothing! but i dont fault him since in kenya we dont have address on the doors or something so guess I will have to go on using my money to call him and give him directions after every two minutes(did I mention that I have to call him as all his phone manages to do is send those irritating messages of "please call me - Thank you" got to have one that says "No please why don't you call instead"
or better still the phone disables automatically when you no longer have talk time.

Had to delete my previous post after i realized tha the only thing iam trying to put across is wht do you do when you realize that you are being underpaid for all the mountain of duties assigned to you? Realized this in a job interview when asked to describe my normal day in the office and the interviewer had to get me to stop as I had such an impressive array of responsibilities the guy developed cold feet for how do you peg a salary of a person who undertakes the work of at least three employees?
Resolution looking for a better paying job with limited work load, for the way I am going my family will be left suffering as I have no time to even jienjoy with my two lovely daughters (Yeah i had to say it)
Anyone with suggestions?

Even before i start on this i know i am trending on rather slippery grounds but what the heck!.

Finnally good old( really) one wife of ngilu has done it again (what? ) Shes become passionate which is her only mistake in politics see she does not think her constiunts have smokers neither does she think that those kenyans she would want to veote her in as president are inclusve of smokers.
Ati she wants smoking to be put on hold in public places! where are you really in some private place? guess we are to start seeing billows of smoke emanating from the so called private places and eventually get to private skies and so on.
you may have realized by now that i am a smoker not by default but by choice what the heck each one of us have one or more negative habits that make us fall under the defination of men and women. My smoking or lack of does not make me healthy you docs out there let me know if you are all treating smokers and no other cases are ever brought to you.
this one as many of the current gova's policies laws and so on comes as a cropper from the word go. cant wait to be produced in court with some cigarrette stub as evidence of having been smoking in public.
what if i smoke dont come near me ihave no responsibility regarding you keep your distance and we assume that the fire in your shags does emit no smoke.
ati we dont smoke in public places rubbish which is the public place/ shame on you that the only amenity you can classify as a public place is your local bus stage cause honestly where else would you be in public for the sake of being in public.

PAC REPORT/ALIGNMENTS

It goes without saying that the PAC report tabled in parliament and voted to be implemented should come as a relief and as a right direction in the fight against graft in this country. But we should not celebrate just yet as the PAC is nothing but a toothless dog whose work one may say is to bark but never bite.
You may have realised that no action is to be taken unless some of those to be investigated and those partly blamed for the scandal 'approve' their own crucification to put it that way. After all, all the report achieved in doing is recommending the investigation of the people involved, and the preparation of a report within two months.
The affairs of the people to be looked into are the issue that lends non credence to the seriousness of the gov on the whole issue. One would imagine that all thosse to be investigated are to resign and let the due process take plce but alas! this is Kenya. You do not expect to see the VP doing so in the near future, nor Mr Muthaura or Wako. Another catch is that before any public servant gives evidence to the commmitee the same president who was accused of laxity while being fully informed of the going ons by Githongo will be the one to give permission to them to appear before the commitee as they are barred to do so what will prevent him from not doing so and if he does so what will prevent him from selectively giving permission to a few.
Also who would give evidence agains his boss and at the same time expect not be victimised as in the case of Muthaura ( He is the chief of all civil servants after all).
One would only wait to see what will transpire in the next two months.

Now to one marriage of ODM and LDP. Writings are on the walls of a possible fall out as a result of the eminent by election in the five areas that lost their Mps in the Marsabit tragedy. I do not see any possibility of either Kanu ceceding its claim from the seats in favour of ana ODM candidatefor after all one Paddy Ahenda is not an ODM Mp but an LDP one so here i predict the beginning of the end for this alliance.

It is with self hate and much thought that i must write this. I happened to watch the news(27th March) cant remember if it KTN or NATION but one of them or maybe both and the images from northern Kenya were really pitiful to see someone walk for 40k in search of a clinic cause that aint no hospital , a child dies for lack of food , a whole family is sick due to hunger, amother leaves her family for days in search of food, someone dies for lack of water( while we drink bottled water) and much more.And to think that some of us feel pity for ourselves when we cant fun on weekends.
Really i dont know do we really have the same government they have in northern kenya?

1. Do you as an individual feel anything when such things are highligted?
2. Do the government really care?
3. Have you guys ever thought about these people who happen to be our brothers and sisters.
4. Are there ways to end this recurrent events once and for all in our country?

lets leave politics out for once for we will talk about them and at the end of it all it everybody for himself or herself.

TOLD YOU GUYS!.

Told you guys to be on the look out for things going haywire in parliament, and bingo the first day of business transactions the rifts are emerging! The house business committee has been turned to an extension of the cabinet. Virtually all the proposed govt’ recommendations are from the cabinet. Talk of kanu’s lack of respect for democracy and you see an elite group of govt’ men who have no shame left and in one stroke they managed to taint the integrity of the house and Kenyans once again! Kanu’s walkout on the committee was a little bit too late for us Kenyans did walk out on the govt’ way back when it became apparent that the govt’ was out to renegade on all the spoken and even assumed promises that they did give (but alas we are about to make the full cycle come 2007).

Its official the government is all out to put a stop to media freedom in the country. Information minister Mutahi Kagwe alleges that the media has become a preserve of a few operatives and if it were upto Him every media house would have to choose one medium to stick to. One wonders why are these people so blind to what the implications of their actions will be. Deny nation media house and the standard media group of internet and radio leave them only and don’t forget Kenyans fought for democracy even when we only had KBC. So stifling the media will backfire on them as all our sympathy will revert to the media houses. (Bet they are also thinking of ways to curtail the progress of blogging as an alternative media machine.)

What is it about snakes and frogs that give Rev Githii sleepless nights? You guessed it they are in parliament buildings or rather there carvings are. Remember the guy who had to destroy church windows and other paraphernalia in the guise of getting rid of the devil in the church? He is at it again this time regarding the snakes and frogs carvings in parliament. Apparently according to the guy these have contributed to the levels of “immorality” and decay of the house in all its undertakings. I really dont know what to think about all this any suggestions?

Pessimists Or is it just the Reality?

Watching the news yesterday after the official opening of parliament I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth as i wondered till when will we hear the same old stories of we will leave nothing to chance and infact the only thing we prosper in doing is leave everythying to the dogs. The prezi was there saying how we will tackle this and that. Raila was there now looking for peace( wonder if things are Ok in ODM) Kalonzo was echoing Railas sentiments and as expected the gov side had never heard a better speech and hence some pulitzer award is in order according to them.
The mwananchi as usual dispatched to the periphery and Parliament was out of bounds.
My take is that all the sentiments aside as per my view all of yesterdays speech was just pure gas and if you dont believe me tune in today and find out what happened on the first day of discussion.

What makes him a spokesman of the down trodden?? Under NARC he oversaw the plunder in funds misuse at the Ministries for 3 years- see local dailies for details. He quit the government in June 2002 since he knew there was no way KANU was going to win the election- a selfish move. He was a Part of the ODM last year - if he is Mr. clean where did he and his colleagues get the money for the NO campaign. Ono of the directors of Kalonzo foundation is Renzo Barnade who is a partner with Lee Nyachae at Kenya Bunduki- the Nyachae's are known to work closely with Aura Perera- the NARC regime Kamlesh Patni- Young Kenyan the conclusion is yours.
William Ruto: A senior member of the amorphous group called Youth for KANU 92. It is common knowledge the plunder this group of young thugs did to our Country Kenya during the early 90's- being young does not mean the same thing as integrity! It made him an overnight millionaire!!! Could he say what honest job he did, where and when to amass the wealth he has?

Until an opportunity occurs for you to ascend to the top seat for the sole purpose of sitting on that seat! Kenyans were fools to imagine that a man who had been in the system for 40 years could cause any change- he knows no difference. Mwiraria/ Murungi - the arrogance of power and the ANGLO FLEECING SAGA whether real or imagined speaks for itself. A LAST Deal might have been done on Tuesday 31st February to supply Radio communication equipment by the famous Kamani Group- worth 2.6 billion!Mukisa Kituyi - there is a rumour that the man owns a helicopter after only 3 years of being a minister. I do not need to go further in analyzing them. It points to a need to completely change our political clothing for this country to change the direction we are taking. There is nothing special about all these characters and we need to send them packing whenever the elections are called. Let us spread word that there is need for complete overhaul of the elected leaders.LET US VOTE OUT ALL THE 220 MPs currently in the August house! Let us refuse the bribery during the campaign period - we are 73% of the population and must answer to our Children what we did to make their lives better!!
